2D/1N. PAUCARBAMBA – URUBAMBA – YUCAY – HUAYLLABAMBA – URQUILLOS – CALCA – LAMAY – QOYA – TARAY.
DAY 01. TARAY – QOYA – LAMAY – CALCA.
ADVICED FOR: BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED RIDERS.
08:30 The meeting point to go for this ride along the Sacred Valley´s Haciendas, will be in your Hotel where our transportation will pick you up and bring to Hacienda del Chalán located in the hearth of the Sacred Valley “Paucarbamba”.
09:00 We begin our ride crossing the suspended Paucarbamba bridge and taking a narrow path to the side of the Vilcanota river and see the local Inka cementery, Yanahuara village, and follow the forest path until arrive to Ch´aqwar flower grow areas located no too far from Urubamba.
The Inka palace of Qespe Wanka is the first complex that we will observe this morning, this complex is located to the north of Urubamba.
Chichubamba village´s grow areas; the Wayna Qapac Inka´s palace located in Yucay will be some of the ingredients of the morning ride.
13:00 The first lunch will be in Yucay, one of the most beautiful villages from the valley.
14:00 We ride to the side of the river until cross the Huayllabamba bridge, where we see really big grow areas of white corn, a lot of local forest like is the case of the Tara, Molle, LLaully, etc. and many different kind of colibries.
Will be in Urquillos where we have the opportunity have contact with different buildings that were built by the inkas and after the spaniels arrive here, the build on top (second floor) to be used like Haciendas or reach people homes.
17:00 We arrive to Calca, which is the place where we expect to the dinner and spend the night.
DAY 02. CALCA – LAMAY – MACAY – PAULLO GRANDE – QOYA – TARAY.
08:30 Breakfast.
09:30 Our vehicle will bring you to a nice hot spring complex, located some kilometers up in the mountains on the way to go to “Pitusiray” snow mountain.
13:00 Lunch in one of the most traditional Restaurants from Calca.
14:00 The last part of our ride include four different old buildings that were the best and biggest Haciendas from the Sacred Valley, some of them lost in the memories, one still in use and the last one is perhaps the most conserved Hacienda that still now continue working growing the bog lands of white corn “Sara Pampa”.
17:30 We arrive to “Taray” colonial town and say good bye to our horses and ride team, because you have a good bye dinner there.
19:30 Our vehicle will pick you up and bring you to your Hotel.
