09:00 After beginning our ride at “Hacienda del Chalán”, we cross the Vilcanota river over a traditional suspended bridge. The next part of the path runs along the side of the river crossing through an area of native forest where it is possible to see one of the biggest Inka cementeries along the side of the path. We pass by the village of Yanahuara until we arrive at the Tarabamba suspended bridge that we need to cross to get to Salinas after climbing a narrow path up to the mountain.
10:45 Arrival at Salinas and walking tour of the salt pans complex.
11:30 Return to the valley.
13:00 Arrival at Hacienda del Chalán.
