We begin this trek at the “Tarabamba” Bus stop, near to “Tunupa” Rastaurant, since where we have to walk down to the direction to the “Vilcanota” river and cross it using a suspended local bridge to visit the indigenant village of “Pichingoto” and a uncommon caves home system that was prepared by their ancestors, before the Inka period.

After this visit, we need to climb the mountain following an narrow path, until arrive to a marvelous Salt mines of Maras, where we expect to visit and see directly how is the work to process the salt since a salty water until to get a salt crystals to sale in the traditional local markets.
